Expenses Specialist

**We’re looking for a Travel & Expenses Specialist to join us in our Bradford office, with hybrid working.**

This role is responsible for leading on the resolution on Accounts Payable complex queries, continuously reviewing current processes, identifying improvements and working with Digital and Automation Teams to deliver a solution.

The Payment Operations team are responsible for several key areas including end-to-end processing of all end-to-end financial transactions such as billing, customer payments, accounts payable and receivable, in compliance with supplier accounts, applicablelegislation and internal policies.

**What will you be doing?**
- Working with senior stakeholders from LG & other Operating Companies to ensure fast query resolution.
- Play a key part of the Travel Support for all Op Co’s, with key involvement in approving business travel requests outside of policy guidelines, helping with travel related queries and completing credit card monthly reconciliations
- Project management for Travel, Expenses and Spend Desk process changes/improvements and looking at transformation opportunities for streamlining the department
- Engage and support local business users through the relevant processes and provide training where necessary
- Seen as an expert in all areas of the Travel, Expenses & Spend Desk processes and system requirements.
- Liaise with internal and external auditors to provide information and evidence as required.
- T&E audits on expense claim approvals to use for business improvements and on-going team training.
- Project management for Travel, Expenses and Spend Desk process changes/improvements and looking for transformation opportunities for streamlining the department
