Sales Specialist – Ophthalmic surgical consumables Yorkshire and North East Medical Salary £40,000 to £50,000 basic, £20k+ OTE Surgical Ophthalmics sales, Yorkshire and North East Over 100 years of expertise Dedicated to innovation Theatre-based, clinical and surgical sales role Superb culture, multiple divisions to progress into Great package – earn £25K commission THE ROLE: This isn't your typical "9-5 job" An exciting and rewarding opportunity to work alongside surgeons and have a direct impact on patient outcomes. As Sales Specialist, you will enjoy a highly specialist clinical role, engaging with clinical and commercial decision makers at all levels within NHS/private hospitals and specialist ophthalmic clinics. Typical contacts include consultant ophthalmic surgeons, theatre managers, scrub nurses, clinical leads, optometrists, and procurement teams. Full product training will be provided. THE COMPANY: A strong heritage of industry-leading technical innovation At the forefront of eye surgery in the UK, they work in partnership with clinicians to provide optimal surgical solutions for patients. With a well-known product range and ambitious growth plans, they are looking to expand their team to support continued success. You will be home and field-based at least 4 days per week, managing established accounts while prospecting for new business. Confident prospecting and winning new customers is essential. Full product training is provided, along with career development and attractive earning potential for high achievers. EXPERIENCE : Experience in ophthalmic or theatre sales is ideal, but candidates from broader healthcare or medical backgrounds will also be considered. They may also consider candidates without industry experience with strong relationship-building skills and the confidence to engage with consultants. A full clean driving licence is required, with no more than 6 points. THE PACKAGE: £40,000- £50,000 base with flexibility for industry experience Quarterly commission of £20,000+ uncapped pa Fully expensed hybrid car or £700 per month car allowance Benefits include healthcare, pension, 25 days holiday plus stats
