Our client is a well-established manufacturing brand that has built their reputation on the quality of products and the efficiency in which they deliver. In recognition of their strong brand and continued growth, we're recruiting for an experienced ElectricalDesign Engineer to join their vibrant team.

Role requirements:

- To produce customer pricing calculations for custom assemblies within agreed SLA's
- Create detailed technical plans for electrical systems using CAD programs, converting specs and design information from engineers, into schematics and blueprints.
- Prepare comprehensive wiring diagrams for electrical equipment
- Assist with Building Solutions & Engineering Director in data analysis to achieve efficiencies
- Ensure all designs meet relevant recognised safety standards.
- Check that final technical drafts include all relevant information.
- Review technical drafts as required
- Participate in design process by supporting designers, offer ideas and share best practice
- Assist project managers in preparing technical documents and presentation slides
- Proactively advise stakeholders in writing of any delays
- Ensure final designs are compliant to any necessary regulations.
- Proactively participate during meetings with stakeholders
- Attend customers' sites when necessary to validate specifications for design purposes.
- To provide ATEX (Explosive Atmospheres) engineering solutions and designs, and to act as a Primary Engineer for all ATEX matters.
- Experience of working in the building or electrical automation industry.
- Sound working knowledge of electrical products.
- Advanced skills in AutoCAD, Revit, E-Plan.
- BIM knowledge
- Industrial Automation and Programmable Logic Controllers (PLCs).
- Strong IT knowledge (Excel, Word, Outlook, PowerPoint).
- Accreditation for ATEX and IECEx equipment certification.
- Driving licence
