Our Engineering Research and Development department (ER&D) is a fast growing function within Tata Technologies Limited that is assembled to work on exciting projects globally for multiple customers. It comprises highly specialized engineers across Automotive, Aerospace and Industrial Heavy Machinery.  
As a Lead Project Engineer, you will lead the delivery of cutting-edge electrical systems and technologies across our next-generation vehicles. You’ll manage cross-functional teams, oversee project timelines and budgets, and ensure alignment with electrification, sustainability, and modern luxury.  
Do note this role is as 12 month fixed term contract. 
Project Leadership: Drive end-to-end delivery of electrical engineering projects, from concept through launch.
· Cross-Functional Coordination: Collaborate with design, manufacturing, procurement, and quality teams to ensure seamless integration of electrical systems.
·  Timeline & Budget Management: Develop and maintain detailed project plans, tracking milestones, risks, and costs.
·  Stakeholder Engagement: Communicate project status, risks, and mitigation plans to senior leadership and external partners.
Ensure engineering solutions meet performance, safety, and regulatory standards.
· Agile Delivery: Operate within Agile squads, contributing to sprint planning and backlog prioritization.

Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering or related discipline.
· Proven experience in project management within automotive or high-tech engineering environments.
· Strong understanding of vehicle electrical architectures, ECUs, wiring systems, and software integration.
· Proficient in CAD (CATIA/NX), PLM (Teamcenter), and JLR systems (WERS, RMDV).
