**Summary**:
This is a long established and highly regarded manufacturing business with a reputation for innovatively engineered flow and pressure products applied in the water industry.

As their design engineering team continues to grow, driven by exciting new product innovations, they are now looking to recruit a CAD Technician to join their team based in Dudley to help develop innovative products.

Key Responsibilities:

- Create high quality technical drawings based on designs supplied by the design team.
- Use your knowledge of 3D CAD to support the Engineering Change process.
- Maintain current 3D & 2D data across the business.
- Support in house specialists to develop products across multiple projects.
- Support the design team in maintaining the highest standards for ISO 9001 accreditation.
- Build and prepare prototypes as part of the design process.
- Understand tolerance analysis and design for manufacture principals

Key Skills/Experience:

- Able to create and read technical engineering drawings
- 3D CAD fluent.
- Sound knowledge of engineering principals.
- Composure under pressure and able to work individually and in a team environment.
- Excellent verbal communication skills and confident presentation skills.
