London, United Kingdom MQ Mental Health Research Full time

Job description

**Job Title: Programme Administrator**
**Time Commitment**:Full Time or Part Time, Permanent
**Based at**: MQ Office, London, EC1Y with high levels of remote and flexible working available
**Reporting to**:Growing Talent Programme Lead
**Salary**:£24k - £26k per annum

At MQ, we champion and fund world-class research to transform the lives of everyone affected by a mental health condition. We strive to create a world where mental illness is better understood, diagnosed, treated and, hopefully someday, prevented. Research is the first step towards making that a reality.

It is believed that while we have an IQ (intelligence quotient) and an EQ (emotional quotient), we also have an MQ (mental quotient) but our knowledge of MQ is way behind compared to what we know about IQ and even EQ these days. At MQ Mental Health Research Charity, we connect scientists with supporters, people with lived experience of mental health illnesses, policymakers, and practitioners, so together we strive to understand mental health, improve treatments and prevent mental illnesses.

**Job Purpose Summary**:
We are looking to appoint a Programme Administrator to provide administrative support for the research team at MQ and its portfolio of funded research projects. The role will entail significant amount of communication both with other teams at MQ (e.g. Marketing team, Finance team), and with external stakeholders, many of whom are academics.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Preparing and circulating documents, agendas, taking meeting minutes and circulating the minutes and draft briefing notes as appropriate
- Assisting with disseminating surveys (e.g. by using Google Form, SurveyMonkey) and summarising the responses
- Liaising with other teams within MQ to support the administration of the activities such as working with the finance team for reimbursing collaborators
- Acting as the main point of contact for key internal projects and providing administrative support
- Supporting the monitoring and evaluation of the projects by providing feedback to the research team Programme Leads and other stakeholders
- Maintaining and updating the monitoring and reporting systems in line with requirements
- Assisting the Programme Leads in monitoring and managing the budget of projects, including managing expenditure and keeping financial records
- Assisting in preparing public dissemination materials (e.g., blog posts, social media posts, etc.)
- Assist with maintaining records and contact databases up to date

The above list of responsibilities may not be exhaustive, and the post-holder will be required to undertake such tasks and responsibilities as may reasonably be expected within the scope and grading of the post.
