Garment Technical and Sustainability Administrator

**About the opportunity...**
We are recruiting for a Garment Technical and Sustainability Administrator to work at our busy Pep and Co head office in Watford. The role has a flexible working location, allowing you to work from home and the office.
Working within Kidswear, you will report to the Kidswear Garment Technologist and be responsible for ensuring all administration and samples are managed effectively and efficiently.
You will also support the wider Technical team as and when required
We are committed to supporting our colleagues with their development, this role comes with the ability to study an apprenticeship in Garment Maker.
**What you'll be doing...**
As a Garment Technical Administrator, you will be responsible for:
- Managing and updating style workbooks after fit meetings, ensuring all alterations are recorded and uploading photographs
- Assist in fit meetings with measurements and recording alterations
- Checking test and quality reports and raising any issues or concerns
- Liaise with suppliers regarding alterations, gold seal approvals, test reports and quality checks
- Working with suppliers to ensure fits are inline with critical path requirements
- Liaising with Buying and Merchandising teams to maintain critical path deadlines
- To undertake a range of core administrative duties, such as managing and updating the supplier database, checking BCI credits, Oeko-Tek certifications and other sustainability attributes
**What you'll need...**
To be successful, you need to have:
- Previous experience in Garment Technology either through employment and/or work experience would be desirable
- Interest in sustainability
- A relevant qualification or a keen interest in Fashion
- Good communication and organisation skills with the ability to work to lead times and deadlines
- Sound knowledge of all Microsoft office packages
- Excellent attention to detail and ability to work independently
- Confident working with numbers
- Willingness to learn
