We create exciting, original products that meet the needs of today’s busy consumers. We are proud to be opening a brand new, purpose built, breaded chicken factory and have an exciting opportunity for you to join our team, as a Taste Panel Administrator.

The key elements of the role are:

- To organise the collection of start of life/end of life samples utilising QA resource for taste panels
- To set up and prepare taste panel samples for a screening panel in the appropriate kitchen, including the cooking/reheating of product following customer back of pack instructions where applicable.
- To communicate timings for taste panels. Managing participants attendance and adherence to the taste panel schedule.
- To co-ordinate/manage routine start of life, end of life organoleptic taste panels on a routine basis.
- To co-ordinate/manage the Process Departments organoleptic assessments.
- To carry out taste panels in response to customer complaints.
- To document all taste panel results on the relevant documentation and communicate out any product deviations as non-conformances to the relevant departmental manager.
- To ensure that the sampling frequency for product type collection is met as per the procedure.
- To be trained and screened by a Campden trained operative, trained how to assess and profile panellists. To conduct taste panel screening/training using Campden BRI prepared testing kits and completing taster assessment sheets.
- To ensure the test kitchen is kept safe, clean and tidy and available for taste panels upon request.
- During the development stage, conduct customer cook up compliance validations.
- To assist with benchmarking sessions where applicable.
