This is your chance to kickstart a career in Hull’s buzzing creative and cultural scene. As part of the_ Fight for our Creative Futures_ programme, this paid apprenticeship will give you the chance to work across two or three exciting organisations - gaining a real feel for what it’s like behind the scenes in the world of theatre, festivals, libraries, museums and more.
- There are several organisations signed up to offer placements, such as:

- Ferens Art Gallary
- Absolutely Cultured
- Freedom Festival Arts Trust
- Hull Libraries - Big Malarkey Festival
- Hull Museums
- and many more

You’ll get to experience work across two or three of these organisations, where no two days will be the same. You’ll be supporting the creation of festivals and events, helping with admin, meeting creative and cultural professionals, and getting involved in projects that make Hull a brilliant place to live and visit.

**What You’ll Learn**
- Alongside your work placements, you’ll be paid to study towards a Level 3 Business Administration Course relevant to the arts, with Hull College, picking up skills in:

- Communication
- Organisation
- Project support
- IT and digital tools

These organisational and administrative skills are vital to running successful events and projects and can take you far in your career - both in the creative industries or beyond.

**Person Specification**:
You don’t need loads of experience - just the energy, enthusiasm, and commitment to give it a proper go.
- We’re looking for someone who is:

- Creative and curious to start a creative career
- Hard working and keen to learn
- Organised, willing to listen and support where needed
- Comfortable using Word and Excel
- Has, or is predicted to get, English GCSE at Grade 4/C or above (or equivalent)
- Preferably has, or is predicted to get, Maths GCSE at Grade 4/C or above (or equivalent)

This is a placed-based apprenticeship. You **must have been educated in Hull (either formally or informally), at secondary-school age**, to be eligible for this apprenticeship.

**Training and support**:
You’ll have loads of support throughout the apprenticeship by the Generation Hull team and Supplytrain CIC - people who care about helping you to succeed. We’ll check in regularly to make sure you're learning, enjoying your placements, and taking the opportunity to contribute to the amazing work these organisations deliver.
