JOB DESCRIPTION:
An exciting opportunity has arisen at our family run, sixth generation, chocolate and confectionery manufacturing company for a HR administrator to join a growing team based in Polegate, East Sussex.
Working in a busy environment you will be able to organise your own work independently and liaise with different managers and departments to ensure a smooth delivery of the HR function.
This is an ideal role for someone who already has HR administration experience and is looking to take that next step in their career and may want to become CIPD qualified.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
Employee relations including supporting with disciplinaries and grievances.
Supporting and providing guidance to managers on performance management of staff.
The process of recruiting staff, supporting managers during interviews and pre-employment checks etc.
Managing and identify issues so that all employees are working in accordance with legislation.
Issuing of contracts, job descriptions and monitoring attendance management.
Developing close working relationships between the various departments (Finance, Production, Commercial, Technical, Transport, Engineering) and identifying process improvement.
EXPERIENCE & QUALIFICATIONS:
Experience of working within a HR administration function.
Knowledge of employment law including ‘Right to Work’ documentation would be desirable.
HOURS:
Part time - Flexible. To be discussed.
**Salary**:
Up to £16,000 per year
**Job Types**: Part-time, Permanent
