**Outpatient Booking Team Administrator | Customer Service | Competitive salary plus excellent benefits | Oadby, Leicester | Permanent '“ Full Time**
We have an opportunity for you to join one of the UK's leading Private Healthcare companies. This role as an Outpatient Booking Team Administrator will be to provide an efficient patient administration service, provide information to patients and provide exemplary customer service to patients and colleagues.
**Duties & Responsibilities**:
- To effectively manage enquiries and book appointments for Outpatient clinics.
- To ensure an efficient bookings system for all Outpatient Appointments. This will include direct bookings portals from PMI companies as well as online bookings from the Spire website.
- Liaise with other hospital departments as required to ensure a seamless patient journey.
- Respond to enquiries from patients and consultants in a timely, courteous and efficient manner. Ensure an accurate record of the communication is held.
- Ensure all Spire Healthcare and local hospital policies are adhered to including document control, and all complaints and adverse incidents are recorded on Datix.
**Who we are looking for**:
- Good standard of secondary education with demonstrable literacy and numeracy skills to include grades A-C in Maths and English (or equivalent)
- A track record of administration or customer service experience in an office setting
- Confident telephone manner with the ability to communicate with a wide range of customers at all levels.
- The ability to work effectively as part of a team.
- High degree of accuracy and a methodical approach to workload, alongside good organisational skills as this is a busy role
- Ability to act with tact and discretion and appreciate the confidentiality implications when dealing with personal information.
- Working knowledge of SAP or a similar patient booking system would be preferred but not essential
