An exceptional opportunity for an ambitious finance professional, keen to step into their first Head of Finance role, or those already operating at this level.
On an international level, you will be joining a global business, and on a local level will be taking on a diverse varied role that will provide a business you can wrap your hands around.
As Head of Finance, you will take a key role in developing the finance function to meet the challenge of a business doubling in size in 12 months and the requirements of integrating the business in a US corporate reporting and compliance environment.
Our client is looking for a driven Head of Finance to undertake the management of all financial & accounting processes and reporting, budget and forecast reporting, as well as lead in implementing and maintaining SOX compliant control environment.
Key Tasks & Accountabilities
- Support team of 5 finance team members
- Manage GL, AP, AR, Project Accounting and FP&A processes
- Manage treasury, cashflow and cashflow forecasting
- Support the month end, quarter end and year end close processes
- Publish monthly US GAAP financial statements
- Manage the preparation and audit of the local statutory accounts
- Drive the budget and forecasting processes
- Responsibility as SOX Lead for implementing and maintaining company SOX control environment
- Oversee group and local audit process and preparation of statutory accounts.
- Manage reporting & compliance for local reporting & filing (HMRC, VAT, ONS, etc.)
- Develop process measures and business improvement actions.
- Maintain compliance with technical accounting issues in reporting.
With the position having a technical foundation, its likely you will have trained in public practice and hold a ACA/ACCA qualification.
You will need to be comfortable working at a fast pace, making quick decisions & prioritising, as well as being highly adaptable, and open to change.
