**Operational Risk Analyst - Climate Risk**

**12 months**

**Location London/ Hybrid**

The team are an internationalwith members in the UK, US, Switzerland, Poland and India.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Assist with the management of the integration of climate-related risks into Non-Financial Risk (NFR)
- Source data across the Non-Financial Risk Framework, and provide data analysis & processing tools for both internal and external data related to climate risk and resiliency
- Assist with the process for the development and ongoing evaluation of operational risk scenario analysis.
- Build presentations and reporting for senior leadership and governance committees.
- Support the work to evolve NFR's climate risk management and development, considering stakeholder expectations, industry trends and peer activity
- Stay ahead of developments in climate science and how this translates into tools and practices

**Essentials Skills and Qualifications**:

- Proven work experience in risk-related roles in the financial industry
- Degree in banking, economics, mathematics, or related engineering or scientific fields
- Proficient in **quantitative risk models and statistics**:

- Excellent data manipulation, analysis and visualisation skills (e.g. **in Tableau**)
- Ability to understand and execute programming code such as **R or Python**:

- Results oriented individual with proven ability to work productively and collaborate effectively in a team environment. Outstanding interpersonal and communication skills
- Knowledge in dealing with **climate risk data and analytics**, or previous work experience in a climate risk role is an advantage
