**Operational Risk Analyst** - The Role:
The role of the Operational Risk Analyst will be to work with and assist the Operational Risk Officer and Operational Risk Manager with the execution of the operational risk activities within the Company, in order to identify and assess operational riskswhich may impact operations, delivery, customer, internal policies and procedures. The role will also involve the Operational Risk Analyst assisting with other internal frameworks as maybe required from time to time, including but not limited to the EnterpriseRisk Management and Business Continuity frameworks.

**Operational Risk Analyst** - Key Responsibilities:

- Participate in operational risk identification assessments to identify key risks across all business units of the Company
- Assist with process flow reviews and test the implementation and operational effectiveness of controls implement in business units
- Support with the maintenance of risk registers across business areas
- Participate in discussions with the various risk owners on assessment outcomes, assist in investigate operational risk events to obtain root cause analysis as necessary and assist with the formulation of mitigation action plans to address identified gaps
- Assist with tracking the timely remediation of issues raised in the risk assessment lifecycle or through risk events including IT-related incidents
- Assist with the embedding of the Company’s risk appetite framework
- Support risk monitoring activities as part of ensuring they are managed in line with risk tolerance limits and the Company’s defined Risk Appetite
- Support the analyse to identify trends in the key operational risks and indicators and the production of timely, accurate and robust ORM reports for the Company’s Risk Committee
- Assist Operational Risk team with monitoring and testing the implementation of any recommendations issued by the Internal Auditor to the Business Units
- Assist Operational Risk team with providing support and training to staff to promote risk culture within the Company
- Play an active role in the onboarding and implementation of GRC vendor system for risk management and other related areas
- Assisting Management with the implementation and maintenance of the Company’s Enterprise Risk Management framework
- Assisting Management with the implementation and maintenance of the Company’s Business Continuity framework and Operational resilience requirements

**Operational Risk Analyst** - You:

- Professional qualification (Diploma or Bachelor’s degree) in Finance or Banking related areas
- Qualification or certification held with an industry leading risk management body will be considered an asset
- 1+ years experience in Operational Risk, with clear experience in the risk assessment lifecycle
- Experience with working with a GRC vendor system will be considered an asset
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office; Word, Excel & PowerPoint
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, attention to detail and influencing ability
- Effective verbal reasoning and numeric skills
- Ability to review, assess, and resolve complex issues
- Excellent planning and organisation skills
- Team player, reliable and ability to work unsupervised
- Ability to work under pressure meeting challenging deadlines
- Flexible approach to work
- Technical knowledge of the mechanics of issuing, acquiring and other payment related requirements, as well as knowledge of EU & UK regulations applicable to payment institutions, will be considered an asset
