**BREAD BAKER (DAY TIME SHIFT)**

An exciting and rare opportunity has arisen here at The Bakewell Bakery. Great hours of work with a flexible approach for a qualified Bread Baker to join our team.

The bakery is part of a small group of independent family-run businesses in the Peak District. We are looking for a qualified Bread Baker to join our fantastic team. We pride ourselves in supplying high quality products to a large range of local retailers, restaurants, and pubs across Derbyshire. Our range of products varies from artisan breads to oatcakes.

This role is a varied one that will require you to work to a high standard of producing quality artisan bread from ingredient scaling to working on the deck ovens. Experience in a baking or similar capacity is preferred.

**Responsibilities**
- Daily mixing dough batches, hand moulding and mixing.
- Understanding of food safety practices.
- know how to mix different ingredients to prepare products.
- Quality control.
- Following recipe procedures.
- Weighing flour and other ingredients to prepare dough.
- Maintaining equipment and machinery to a high standard.
- Understanding the production process

- Good knowledge and experience of the food industry.
- Hands on approach with a can-do attitude.
- Flexible and organised for a fast-paced bakery.
- Passionate & enthusiastic.

**Benefits**
- Approximately 45 hours per week, with a start time from 11.00am Monday to Friday.
- Flexible working hours depending on the workload of the business.
- Full time, permanent role with salary from £12 - £14 per hour, depending on experience.
