We are a growing and dynamic powered access hire company, providing industry-leading service and solutions to our clients across the UK. Our Leeds Depot is a busy and fast-paced hub, and we're looking for a reliable, enthusiastic, and organised individual to join our team as a Hire Desk Controller / Admin Assistant.
**Role Overview**
As a Hire Desk Controller / Admin Assistant, you will be the first point of contact for customers and responsible for ensuring smooth hire operations and general office administration. This is a varied role that requires excellent communication skills, attention to detail, and the ability to multitask effectively.
**Key Responsibilities**
- Coordinating equipment hires and off-hires
- Processing hire and transport documentation
- Liaising with internal teams (drivers, workshop, accounts)
- Maintaining accurate records on hire management systems
- General administrative tasks including filing, data entry, and assisting the depot manager as needed
**What We’re Looking For**
- Previous experience in a similar role (hire desk, construction hire, admin support, or customer service) preferred
- Strong communication and organisational skills
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment
- Good IT skills (Microsoft Office, hire software systems an advantage)
- A positive attitude and a team player

Pay: £26,000.00-£28,500.00 per year
