Cargo Security Operations Officer

Working in the cargo operation at Menzies World Cargo Heathrow site with responsible for monitoring compliance of screening operations in the UK in accordance with the requirements laid down by Menzies Aviation and national controlling authorities. This role requires integrity, discipline, flexibility, and the ability to work both independently and collaboratively to achieve the required outputs of the post holder.
- To carry out compliance monitoring activity using SMART on screening operations at Cargo Regulated Agent sites in the UK region.
- Maintain oversight of all CCTV/access control systems across all sites on a shift basis.
- Report all faults relating to CCTV and access control systems to the contracted service provider in a timely fashion.
- To ensure GDPR compliance in relation to CCTV footage recordings.
- Print and issue access control identity cards for Menzies World Cargo, Menzies Aviation and Air Menzies International in the UK region.
- Manage the record keeping and file management of screening and screening equipment maintenance records in accordance with Menzies Aviation requirements.
- To support in the daily testing regime of security screening equipment at Menzies World Cargo.
- To support in the weekly and monthly ETD cleaning and maintenance programme in accordance with manufacturers requirements.
- Assist in the delivery of the Menzies Aviation Security Training programme as Onsite Demonstrators for Aviation Security screening roles.
- To provide adhoc cover for screening operations at the Menzies World Cargo site.
- To monitor and order security consumables on behalf of Menzies World Cargo.
- Any other reasonable duty as requested.

**Qualifications and Experience**
- UK DfT Cargo Supervisor qualification
- NXCT qualification
- CCTV surveillance qualification
- Possession of a valid Train the Trainer course would be advantageous.
- Must possess a good knowledge of DFT cargo screening requirements and MA SOPs
- Technical knowledge of screening, CCTV and access control equipment within the Menzies Aviation portfolio.
- Must be pro-active and forward thinking.
- Must have excellent time keeping and attendance record.
- Must be flexible and be able to time manage their working day.
- Competent in the full Microsoft Office packages.
- Have an annual eye test examination and wear prescription lenses as required.
