Based in the operations office, you will action and supervise the RFS and Freighter operation for the handling of our customers' cargo and mail. The role will be based on shift of 4on and 4 off, days and nights depending on the operations requirements (37.5hours per week). To deliver expected quality service performance for all customers. You would be accountable to ensure all operations are delivered safely, securely and within all contracted service level agreements.

**Main accountabilities include**:

- Ensure the accurate processing of documentation in all areas in accordance with operational procedures, handling briefs, and Customers' Service Level Agreements, including special handling e.g. HUM, DGR, VUN, VAL, Radioactive material.
- Perform all aspects of the day-to-day clerical operation and achieve a high level of service and productivity.
- Liaise with clerical Supervisors to ensure fully informed.
- Carry out Dangerous Goods checks and adhere to IATA and carrier regulations.
- Deliver a high-quality customer service to all internal and external customers.
- Manage irregularities via Hermes Service Management and Service Recovery.
- Ensure all irregularities are reported via IRP messages where required.
- Perform Reception duties including adherence to CAA regulations.
- Process transhipments including obtaining onward bookings and security clearance.
- Process import, and export flights including issuance of NOTOC of required pre-advice.
- Liaise effectively with carrier and other handling agents.
- Liaise effectively with warehouse staff on build and break requirements.
- Adopt a proactive work ethic, planning ahead to anticipate and prevent handling issues.
- Fully comply with all Company Regulations including Security and Health and Safety.

**Specific desk duties: manage Coastwise, European, UK traffic**:

- communicate with Imports desk and identify all coastwise shipments
- Plan and manage the FBL from the airline
- sending pre alert to trucking companies and arrange collection
- arrange collection and discuss about how the cargo should be loaded
- communicate with the warehouse to plan/prepare the cargo and advise the plan to load, for special cargo
- manifest the trucks and prepare pouches, liaise with reception and drivers
- issuing T1 in NCTS
- send SPX pre alert

**Specific desk duties: movement of empty equipment**:

- communicate to the warehouse work to plan
- Inform reception and the ULD management Team
- prepare tags and documentation
- when empties are going on a freighter, complete and send UWS in Croamis

**Specific desk duties: freighter preparation**:

- plan and manage the FBL from the airline
- book and manage trucks for freighter departing from another airport
- manage with DM and warehouse coordinator, how to build special shipments and how to fill up the allocation
- prepare NOTOC
- when Freighter departs from LHR, complete and send UWS in the airlines' system
- make sure the allocation is filled up correctly and priorities followed
- manifest and prepare pouches with docs
- send finals and NFAB
