We're looking to hire 2 people who have the skills and experience required to work with a Deputy Director's - Head of Engineering and a Head of Delivery - to give them the space and support they need to help deliver DWP's ambitious digital agenda.
You will work autonomously acting as a key point of contact for internal and external meetings, producing secretarial minutes and coordinating the actions and decisions from these meetings.
You'll also have responsibility for the Deputy Director's diary and inbox, acting as initial point of contact for all general enquiries relating to the Deputy Director and ensuring the detailed requests are communicated in a timely manner, building and formingrelationships quickly.
You'll be expected to build a good understanding keen interest in the work we do and using that insight to plan and prioritise on behalf of your Deputy Director.
You'll make sure that they spend time on the right things, and are fully prepared for meetings with the right papers, briefings and travel bookings.
You'll also play a key role in supporting wider communication within your area - helping to set up key communication channels, and supporting events.

In return for your skills, we offer a competitive salary of up to £34,971.
You'll be eligible for a brilliant civil service pension with employer contributions worth 27.1%.
