**Overview**

Working with senior team members the Associate, General Infrastructure, is responsible for critical areas relating to the origination, execution, and administration of infrastructure investments for our Client. The Associate is responsible for advisor selection, liaison, and supervision, as well as managing financial modelling (external or internal) and serving as the first point of contact for acquisitions-related questions. The Associate is responsible for training, developing, and delegating work to the team's Analysts. The job has a lot of variety and gives you a lot of exposure both within and internationally.

**Responsibilities**

Key responsibilities include:

- Responsible for financial analysis including, inter alia, model manipulation and construction, analytical review, graphing key outputs and sensitivity analysis.
- Analysis and presentation of key risks
- Management of the due diligence process, including appointment and management of advisers, Q&A with the vendor and responding to queries from investors or the IC
- Review and comment on legal documents such as NDAs, Bid Conduct Agreements, adviser engagements
- Producing refinancing analysis and coordinating advisors
- Preparation of Screening, New Opportunity and other Investment Committee papers
- Creation of slide decks and investor presentation materials, and presenting these internally and externally, where required
- Undertake investor reporting and post-acquisition value enhancement where required
- Provision of analytical support to our Clients asset director(s) and in certain circumstances, attending board meetings of portfolio companies
- Analysis with respect to investment limits/criteria across mandates
- Providing analytical support for the wider business from time to time
- Adherence to all policies and procedures within the business
**Role Requirements**
- Great financial modelling skills
- The ability to respond with agility to requests at short notice
- Strong organisational skills to allow workload prioritisation according to urgency and importance, with the ability to delegate, and train more junior members of the team
- A self-starter, willing to take initiative while also judging when to seek support from senior colleagues
- Demonstrable track-record of delivering high-quality output even under pressure
- A team player committed to the needs of the business (particularly during busy periods) who can be relied on and trusted by senior team members to deliver/perform
- Good communication skills, both in writing and orally and a willingness to speak up with his/her own views
- Strong numerical ability
**Qualifications**
- Bachelor’s degree or higher
- Relevant work experience within an infrastructure-related or financial services role
- Obtained professional financial/accounting qualification (e.g. CFA, ACA etc.) would be advantageous but is not a requirement

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

**Salary**: Up to £80,000.00 per year
