**What you will be doing**:
Provide effective HR support to business managers ensuring business needs are met in line with Company HR policies and processes. Work with line managers and employees to resolve problems.
- Support local deployment of Company HR processes such as Absence Management, Performance Management, Reward Review, Role grading, Salary policy and Career Development Framework activities
- Responsible for providing support to People Partners and Case Specialists to enable HR processes to be executed efficiently and effectively supporting the HR operating model. Provide guidance to line managers to obtain support from the right areas; maintain a strong partnership with other HR activities to ensure overall service delivery; ensure accurate data management by advising GBS people services on all changes and complying with approval & notification procedures. Working with GBS people services to ensure effective knowledge base is maintained.
- Raise employee concerns and engagement issues and recommending action to create a positive and productive working environment, liaising with the relevant ER team where necessary
- Support change management, projects and communications for HR initiatives, providing feedback to GBS people services on improvement activities.
- Advise and support line managers on people/team management responsibilities.
- Liaison with Payroll services to escalate payroll issues highlighted by line managers and employees, ensuring that corrective actions are implemented for under and over payments in a timely manner.
- Supporting life management activities including maternity, paternity, adoption, shared parental leave and all types of flexible working requests, ensuring that line managers and employees understand the associated processes and policy and ensuring implementation in a timely manner.
- Workday support - advising line managers and implementing any identified Workday change requests, including holidays, holiday carryover, shift allowances, career development framework (boarding requests), Workday alignment and end of employment actions.
- Support the absence management process liaising with other stakeholders including occupational health, case specialists and ER teams. In particular providing support to absence management activities that currently sit outside formal processes; working with line managers to upskill including informal counselling, return to work interviews, AWOL, and long-term absence management.

- Good working knowledge of HR processes and the relevant IT systems to support those processes.
- Well-developed customer and relationship management skill set.
- Broad knowledge of the HR best practice across Employee Relations, Resourcing, Development and Employment Law.
- Min Level 5 CIPD qualification is desirable
