**Role Key Accountabilities**
- _Nurturing new business from existing clients_
- _Heading & supporting the estimating team _
- _Working with the QS team to maintain profitable tenders _
- _Reviewing and developing operational processes to improve performance and maximise growth_
- _Ability to develop and implement strategies to meet company goals and targets_
- _Maintain and enhance current customer relations along with initiating new client contacts._
- _Focus on growth strategies_
- _Understand customer relationships_
- _Knowledge of conducting market research and analysis,_
- _Ability to understand business growth models and to foresee commercial opportunities_
- _Develop plans for expansion and business development_
- _Willingness to take strategic risks_
- _Collaborate with and coordinate diverse teams_
- _Excellent interpersonal skills, working to build and maintain beneficial partnerships with stakeholders_
- S_trategic development and critical thinking skills needed to assist in setting financial targets, developing budgets, and monitoring compliance_
- _Establishing sales targets and ensuring that a company meets these_
- _Managing risk assessments for new initiatives_
- _Staying aware of the latest trends and developments and representing a company at industry eve_

**Knowledge, Skills and Experience**
- _Experience as a commercial estimating manger or relevant role _
- _Excellent organisational and leadership skills_
- _Experience using CRM tools and platforms would be beneficial_
- _Solid knowledge of performance, financial and budgeting processes_
- _Computer skills - Microsoft Office suite _
- _Must be able to perform a variety of duties being resourceful and maintaining flexibility _
- _Negotiation skills_
- _Effective communication - express or exchange ideas; must be able to verbally convey detailed instructions. _
- _Able to manage priorities and workflow_
- _Strong interpersonal skills; excellent verbal and written communication skills_
