Job DescriptionConstruction and Retail EstimatorHybrid (2 days from home) | Up to £45,000 per annum + Annual Bonus | Monday-Friday | PermanentIntroductionAcorn by Synergie is recruiting a Construction Estimator to support Project Managers and the Sales Team, ensuring accurate pricing and excellent customer satisfaction. This is an exciting hybrid role, offering two days working from home and strong career development opportunities within a leading retail and shopfitting business.Key DutiesAct as the main point of contact for Project Managers, Sales, and Site teams regarding pricing and estimating.Liaise with internal departments to ensure quotations and pricing meet agreed deadlines.Provide quotations and final accounts for enquiries from Sales, Project, and Site Managers.Call off equipment from drawings and create Bills of Materials from Excel spreadsheets.Discuss quotations with clients and Quantity Surveyors, providing feedback and additional information where required.Maintain and update customer schedules of rates and ensure information is accurately stored.Prepare and issue final accounts in a timely and accurate manner.Negotiate with suppliers and subcontractors to achieve best prices within budget.Ensure compliance with Health & Safety requirements and company procedures.RequirementsMinimum of five GCSEs (grades A-C) or equivalent, including English and Maths.At least two years' experience in shopfitting, retail fit-out, or a similar environment.Proven background in estimating, sales support, or customer service.Strong IT skills with experience using Microsoft Office applications.Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications.Excellent knowledge of costing and pricing processes.Strong communication, organisation, and negotiation skills.What We OfferCompetitive salary up to £45,000 per annum plus annual bonus scheme.Hybrid working arrangement - two days working from home.Monday to Friday schedule with no weekend work.Opportunity to work closely with experienced Project Managers and Sales professionals.Supportive working culture with clear opportunities for career progression.Interested?Apply now to join a forward-thinking company as a Construction Estimator and take the next step in your estimating career.Acorn by Synergie acts as an employment agency for permanent recruitment.JBRP1_UKTJ
