We are looking for experienced, motivated, flexible, and enthusiastic person to join our team, to contribute to the care and support to individuals living with dementia and customers on the intermediate rehabilitation care units. The post is available within the intermediate care, and dementia care units. You will work on a rota basis which includes weekends and bank holidays. We need you to be flexible across the home to pick up cover for sickness, holidays, project work etc.

The post holder will be responsible for ensuring that all aspects of care are delivered in line with the philosophy of the home and complies with organisational policies and procedures in line with the Care Quality Commission Essential Standards of Quality and Safety. To implement, monitor and review all care management procedures

The expectation is 50% of this role is involved with direct care.

To provide informal and formal supervision for staff including undertaking PDR and sickness absence management, on the job training to support, hold staff meetings.

Ensure that all aspects of care offered to service users is of a high quality and to the required standard, that meets dignity of care principles and shift leaders to take remedial action where necessary, when standards are not met.

Undertake direct work with service users, carers, other agencies, or personnel to ensure that person centred plans are detailed to meet individual needs, implemented, monitored and reviewed with all staff involved.

To maintain health and safety procedures on shift; identify, access, and reduce risks with effective planning and safe management of areas.

To ensure safeguarding procedures are adhered to and ensure staff awareness.
