**The role**

Working as part of the well established and welcoming Accounts Payable Team, you will have responsibility for our German Vendors, liaising with German business partners and vendors. You will ensure that the German vendor accounts are maintained and vendorsare paid in a timely manner in accordance with payment terms set contractually.

**What will you be doing?**
- Ensuring invoices received from German/UK and Dutch Vendors are valid.
- Responsibility for large maintenance of these entities.
- Working with different accounting software such as Salesforce and Navision.
- Responsibility for matching, batching and coding up to 700 invoices per month.
- Working with different currencies (Eur, GBP, USD,CHF,CZK)
- Monitoring the Aged Creditors Report and completing vendor reconciliation on a monthly basis for our top 10 vendors per spend.
- Recording of German employee business expenses, ensuring validity, approval and processing payment.
- Maintaining records of invoices and expenses in hard and soft copy.
- Maintaining accounts payable supplier records.
- Maintaining records of purchase orders.
- Preparing reconciliation of Vendor accounts to GL on a monthly basis.
- Investigating and resolving supplier queries.
- Assisting with Fixed Asset reconciliation.
- Posting direct debits, cash and journals at month end.
- Liaising with German business partners and German vendors on a daily basis.

**What tools will you be using to do this?**
- Primarily Navision/Business Central and Salesforce

**We’d like you to bring to us.**
- Excellent communication skills (both written and verbal) in English and German are essential.
- Accounting qualification (AAT or similar) preferable but not essential
- At least two years’ experience in an Accounts Payable position.
- Navision experience preferred but not essential
- Salesforce experience preferred but not essential
- Industry experience preferred but not essential
