As an Indirect Buyer you will be working with stakeholders across the business to negotiate and manage supply contracts and relationships that provide best value for Arco across a range of measures. You will implement modern procurement methods to the commercial dealings of the business in Indirect (Goods Not for Resale) categories.
**On a day-to-day basis you will**:

- Work with stakeholders, combining functional expertise with professional procurement techniques to provide best value for Arco.
- Support stakeholders with delivery of business objectives.
- Negotiate contract terms, covering price and wider commercial terms; alongside managing contractual and reputational risk.
- Liaise with external supplier representatives and travelling to Arco & Supplier locations as required.
- Lead on Vendor Onboarding and supplier credentials
- Quality, Health & Safety, Environmental and Ethical requirements
- Assist with recording and tracking of spend data to provide visibility and aid with forward planning
- Seek out new opportunities across the portfolio to enhance cost or risk positions.
- 2 years minimums experience in a procurement role.
- CIPS Qualified to Level 4 (desirable, with willingness to work towards if not yet held)
- Ability to act as a business partner across multiple functions and spend areas.
- An understanding of how procurement can support and influence wider business strategy.
