**Essential Duties & Responsibilities**
- Be commercially aware and driven by financial success i.e., ensuring costs are kept as low as possible ensure annual savings targets are being met etc.
- Be able to interpret data and focus on what will deliver value to the business.
- Be an active part of the Procurement team supporting the indirect functional strategy, processes and wider delivery of targets.
- Be able to work both independently to demonstrate a self-driven initiative for problem solving able to make decisions and as part of a team.
- Deliver a good level of Microsoft Office skills and able to manipulate raw data in Microsoft Excel for data analytics.
- Engage in supplier relationship management to ensure operational effectiveness.
- Support work on projects as identified by the Procurement Manager and leverage Procurement team for support.
- Be able to collaborate with a wide range of teams supporting the Indirect category for cost optimisation recommendations.

**Qualification & Experience Requirements**
- 1-2 years of working within a Procurement role or equivalent.
- Some experience of working in or managing projects representing procurement as a function.
- Working knowledge of ERP/MRP Systems such as Microsoft NAV.
- Working knowledge of contract management processes and practices.
- Degree preferred but not essential.
- Experience of working within a systems administration role.
- Experience of working in a fast-paced, customer-facing environment.
- Clean driving license.
