Purpose of the position: As Buyer, you will report to the Site manager on a daily basis. You will be part of our ENI Liverpool Bay Project (Decommissioning & Carbon Capture and Storage). You will be the focal point for all the buying activities of the project onsite (direct&indirect, goods&services). How can you support us? Here below your responsibilities: Manage in autonomy the Purchase Requisitions received from the section lead for any goods and services Review the PR to ensure they are complete and consistent with the budget and technical needs of the project Prepare a tender strategy with proper documents to explain our procurement process to vendors with the relevant timelines and qualification information Liaise with bidders, inspectors, vendors and the Kingston office on a daily basis to ensure all the parties understood the needs and requests Support the vendors during the preparation of the technical/commercial proposals with obligation of confidentiality Compare different proposals from vendors and suggest actions to be taken in order to improve project results What are we looking for? Experience: Proven experience as Buyer or equivalent for both goods and services in the Oil&Gas or Energy industry Technical skills: Goods and services purchasing strategy What we can offer to you: Contractor role, full time, (up to 5,5 days/week when potentially needed) Our One Saipem Way soft skills model leverages on skills development and opportunities to innovate through complex challenges by promoting communication and cooperation with all our collaborators to achieve common goals.
