**What you'll be doing**:
The Resource Co-ordinator is responsible for the scheduling, dispatch and completion of maintenance investigations and repair work for the engineers, predominantly for our third party contractors. They manage appointments and ensure work is appropriately prioritised, passed to and completed by the field teams. Ensuring any emergency work is appropriately actioned within time. You need to have very good organisational skills as well as good communication skills and be able to work with a wide variety of teams and people across Thames Water. Responsibilities will include:

- Communicate with our third party contractors to arrange appointments
- Responsible for the identification and allocation of reactive work to the appropriate technician for completion
- Deliver the highest levels of customer service, enhancing customer experience in line with the customer experience statement
- Work closely with field teams to ensure their local strategies are achieved
- Work with Water to ensure that any changes in process is adhered to
- Support operational events and pollution incidents as required
- Liaise with the contractors to ensure improvements are made to the way we arrange and plan work
- Be front line to reactive issues which need to be addressed managing them effectively
- Co-ordinate field managers to ensure that they provide details of technicians to get appointments delivered
- Manage key health and safety activities including flagging any skills risks
- Manage ad-hoc administration within the team
- Act as a team player supporting your peers work within the Assistant Planner team
- Escalate instances where it is not possible to contact the technician to confirm he / she has received the alarm

**What you should bring to the role**:
Ideally you will have previous experience in scheduling, planning and co-ordinating. You will be able to work in a fast paced, high volume environment whilst being able to manage and deliver SLAs.

An understanding of SAP, Work Management, Processes and Systems knowledge is preferred but not essential. Excellent communication skills are needed as well as strong attention to detail. You will be a strong communicator and will take pride in your work. A self-motivator, focussed and personable individual would succeed in this role as well as having the ability to work autonomously yet part of a wider team.
