**2nd Line Support Engineer**

5 days a week on site

Clearance: Must be eligible for an **SC and DV clearance.**

Shift Pattern: 24/7 - 4 days on, 4 days off

Our client has just signed a contract to carry out an important and secret piece of work for a high-profile end client. Their experienced team will facilitate your development as you provide 2nd Line Support to maintain the end client's new system.

This is a unique opportunity to work alongside the team of engineers that built the system you'll be proving support to. You'll have a team of 3rd Line Support Engineers to escalate problems too and learn from, with a view of progressing into that and beyond.

This is a fantastic opportunity to have a high level of security clearance sponsored, therefore opening up a world of fascinating project work for your career going forward.

**Knowledge and Skillset: This is not an exhaustive list**
- Experience of supporting IT Infrastructures
- Windows Server 2019
- Active Directory
- Group Policy
- MS Certificate Services
- Experience in incident resolution and/or system management of secure IT infrastructures
- Understanding of basic networking skills - Cisco/Juniper and Citrix SDX Load Balancers
- Good understanding of DNS/DHCP protocols
- Basic knowledge of Microsoft Endpoint Configuration Manager (MECM)
- Good understanding of VMWare ESXi and vCentre
- Understanding of SQL Server

15% bonus for out of ours + 10% salary bonus for DV clearance or once attained.
