We are seeking an **enthusiastic and experienced Duty Manager** to join our team at a welcoming country house hotel in the heart of rural Argyll & Bute. This is a permanent, live-in role, offering the chance to live and work in one of Scotland’s most stunning regions.

**The Role**

As Duty Manager, you will oversee the day-to-day running of front of house operations. You’ll be responsible for guest relations, supporting service standards, and ensuring smooth coordination across departments. This is a hands-on role that requires flexibility and leadership.

**Key responsibilities include**:

- Supervising front of house staff and daily operations
- Providing excellent guest care and resolving issues professionally
- Assisting with check-ins, reservations, and enquiries
- Supporting bar, restaurant, and event service as needed
- Leading by example to motivate and support the team

**About You**
- Previous hospitality or customer service experience is strongly recommended
- Confident in managing people and situations in a professional manner
- Excellent communication and organisational skills
- Flexible and proactive with a positive approach
- Able to live and work in a rural location
