Reporting to the Venue Cleaning Manager, you will be responsible for delivering high standards of cleanliness throughout our venues on resort. This role requires a Team Leader, who will lead by example and who will demonstrate commitment to our guestsand their team. The purpose of the role: - Follow through with performance issues and ensuring the team is not just trained but coached and mentored(Role model behaviour) - Carry out team appraisals and development plans within agreed timescales - Adhere to Health and Safety regulations and the collation of all relevant documentation - Deliver the Butlins Recruitment strategy - Responding to and monitoring norovirus levels, to prevent spreading across resort - Support the introduction of a fully recyclable resort - Delivering team training, and ensuring it is always up to date - Conducting team meetings on a regular basis, and acting on any feedback - Carrying out any other ad hoc duties as required - Have proven experience of leading a Team of people. - Be able to focus on the detail and prioritise a cleaning schedule to ensure the biggest impact is made for ourGuests - Be able to provide an environment where the team feels respected and rewarded and can communicate open andhonestly with you as a leader - Be attentive, adaptable and be able to think on your feet. - Have a "HANDS ON ATTITUDE" - Have excellent inter-personal skills - Be able to work well under pressure, multi-task and demonstrate a level of organisational skills - Be flexible due to business needs - Experience and/or qualifications in cleaning and recycling would be desirable, but are not essential as full training will be given. PLEASE NOTE - This role is an ‘evenings’ position and will require night work.
