Team Leader Location: Ingoldmells Payrate: £15.75 per hour We are looking for a Team Leader who has excellent organisational skills and a strong understanding of autism. The role is to assist us with setting up and managing a team of staff to support an individual who likes to be active and creative. This person is autistic and wheelchair user and requires support from staff that value honesty and respect. Ideally this individual will have 2 years experience at Team leader level, or relevant managerial or life experience.They need to be able to demonstrate excellent organisational skills to assist with day-to-day management of appointments etc. The team will need staff that workwithsomeone, notoverthem, and to be part of a team that values clear communication, mutual respect, and practical care. Were looking for a team who are: Female Team Leaders who are car owners and willing to use car for work with milage paid. Willing and able to support all aspects of life including cooking, activities, and life skills. Treats others the way theyd want to be treated Respect the individuals space, belongings, and autonomy People who are proactive and can take initiative without being prompted constantly. Have emotional resilience and life experienceconversations and needs can sometimes be complex or sensitive Is calm, observant, and able to help manage triggers before they become an issue Able to problem solve Understands thatquality of lifeis more important than pushing for total independence and demonstrates a willingness to adapt depending on the need presented, as they vary day to day. Wants to support someone in living a fulfilling, self-directed life. Fully engaged in the role, not just present but proactive and attentive.
