Female Support Worker at Acuity Care Group Location: Ingoldmells Payrate: £14.18 per hour flat rate Shift Times: Days – 8:00am – 14:00pm or 14:00pm – 21:00pm; Waking Night – 21:00pm – 8:00am. Full time and Part time available. Assessment Day: Thursday 9th October 2025, 9:30am - 5:00pm. Attendance is mandatory. This role is to work specifically with an individual who is autistic and wheelchair user. It involves support from staff that value honesty, respect, and person‑centred care. Qualifications & Responsibilities Female, car owner, willing to use their car for work with mileage paid. Support all aspects of life: cooking, activities, life skills. Treat others with respect, maintain privacy and autonomy. Proactive and can take initiative without constant prompting. Has emotional resilience; able to manage complex or sensitive conversations. Calm, observant, and able to help manage triggers before they become an issue. Problem‑solving skills. Values quality of life over total independence, adaptable to daily needs.
