We’re on the hunt for a talented Administration Assistant to join our Central Functions team.
This hybrid role offers the opportunity to work just two days in the office in East Grinstead (Tuesday and Thursday). The office has plenty of free parking and is just a 20 minute walk from the railway station.
This role will involve all administrative tasks involved in a busy insurance brokerage including being a customer’s first point of contact, via switchboard or at reception. The role will also include assisting with credit control and liaising with the company’smarketing team to produce and coordinate marketing collateral as required.
**What you will do**
This is an overview and not an exhaustive list of responsibilities.
- First point of contact for Visitors to the Knighthood Office
- Answering the main phone Switchboard
- Involvement with Credit Control activity - including despatch of chaser letters, preparation of all agent statements on a monthly basis, contacting direct clients on overdue debtors, liaising with Administration Manager/MD/Accounts as necessary
- Work with Ethos Broking Marketing Team where required to support with advertising opportunities and the production of marketing materials including Knight Times with the latter involving client contact, drafting articles and co-ordinating the despatch ofthis twice a year
- You may be required to support with organising and attending events/exhibitions,including coordinating attendance at Seawork, potential sponsorship opportunities and any marketing collateral
**Who we are looking for**
This is an opportunity for an organised individual with a keen eye for detail who can prioritise their own workload and assist the team in managing theirs. You will be computer literate and have experience of using both Microsoft Word and Excel. Ideallyyou will have an inquisitive mind and investigative nature, be confident, use your initiative, problem solve and be a fast learner. Previous experience of Insurance would be ideal but not necessary.
