We are recruitiing for an experienced Site Manager (External bias) to manage the works on the redevelopment of a site which will provide 286 student bedrooms in an 8-storey building. The building, of contemporary design will seek to balance the residentialbuilds in the locality with the adjacent commercial and residential buildings reflective of its transition setting in a truly mixed commercial and regeneration location. As the Site Manager you'll hold responsibibity for ensuring the project is completed tothe highest possible standard, on time, safely and profitably resulting in satisfied clients.

As Site manager you will be responsible for the management of works on site, managing quality, safety and pace to ensure that projects and work is completed on time to the required standard. You will work closely with the Project Manager to monitor and managethe construction working programme and delegate tasks appropriately. You will produce reports and progress updates and manage sub-contractors in relation to the programme works. You will also arrange and attend subcontractor pre-start meetings with Contracts/ Project Manager and Quantity Surveyors.

**About You**

We’re looking for an individual who is educated to NVQ Level 3/4 qualification or HNC standard in a relevant discipline or have the equivalent experience. With good communication skills and a technical aptitude, you need to possess a SMSTS certificate, FirstAid certificate and hold a valid CSCS card. We’d like you to have experience of working with high rise buildings, student accommodation builds or BTR builds and be comfortable working in an extremely fast paced environment. Proficiency in Microsoft Officeincluding Outlook, Word and Excel are a must, as are strong management and leadership capabilities.
