**Who we are**
Born Social is a global social media agency that brings social-first thinking to the brands of tomorrow.
For the last 10 years, we’ve helped brands navigate and harness the chaos of social bringing method to the madness. From household names like Guinness, Dettol, and Uber to the next generation of big brands like Nando's and Fever-Tree.
We're an ambitious team of almost 100 people across the UK, Spain, France, Portugal & Germany and not stopping there. We're growing fast and looking for our first Resource Coordinator to come and help us scale the operations of our resource management.
In this new role at the agency, you will be responsible for arranging, coordinating and scheduling our team's resource to maximise our commercial capability. You will be working directly with our Senior Resource Manager to scale our operational capability that drive efficiencies and accuracy.
This role is perfect for someone with a brilliantly operational mind and curiosity for commercials, who is looking to learn, develop and progress their career in resource and operations management.
**️ What you'll be doing**:
- **Resource Coordination**: traffic management of all resource requests, managing & scheduling using our agency management software (Productive) in accordance with timing plans. All must be done with great accuracy and at least six months in advance to enable us to plan our hiring activity accurately.
- **Monitoring & Reporting**: keeping track of where our resource is coming under pressure and reporting to our Senior Resource Manager
- **Systems Management**: responsible for the set-up, administration, onboarding & offboarding of all team members and scheduling in our agency management software (Productive)
- **Freelancers & Contractors**: sourcing, briefing, onboarding and managing both our existing network of contractors as well as developing a new network of Croudies in our group's proprietary software (Croud Control)
- **Effective Processes**:driving efficiency in our resourcing processes to enable accurate measurement of our time and management of our scopes of work
**Who we're looking for**:
- You've got 1+ years of experience working in an operational role (preferably in an agency)
- Organised, agile with an eye for detail; you'll be able to work at a fast pace and keep our data up-to-date
- A strong communicator with a collaborative mindset; you understand the diplomacy, empathy & tact needed in ops
- A problem-solver who understands the job of resourcing is never done, it's a never-ending puzzle
- Good understanding and comfort working with various software; with good Excel skills
- Real drive and ambition: we're a growing team and have ambitious plans, so we're looking for someone who wants to help shape our business - and FinOps team - over the next few years
**️ Our values**:
Our values aim to pinpoint the magic ingredients for us at our best. We look for people who share our values and can add to our culture.
**See Challenge as Opportunity**... is about our attitude and to be very clear, this is not a value of optimism, nor is it about loving every challenge.
**Say It Simply**... is how we communicate. Think of the basic rules of communication - honest, clear, confident.
**Do What You Say**... is the crux of our reputation and longevity. When you join Born Social, our trust is fully given. It is yours to lose.
**Make Each Other Better**... is about our culture of collaboration and commitment to development. We are only as good as the people around us so we all take responsibility for developing each other, as well as ourselves.
**Consciously Contribute**...is bigger than all the others. It ensures we grow right. It broadens our focus beyond Born Social and cements our commitment to doing what’s just, not what’s easy or immediately self-serving.
**Everyone's welcome**:
