SEN Teaching Assistant - South Ockendon, Essex

Are you a Psychology Graduate with aspirations of becoming an Educational Psychologist?

Do you want to gain Long-term experience supporting pupils with Special Education Needs before you start your MA or PhD in Educational / Clinical Psychology?

A large primary school in South Ockendon is looking for a dedicated graduate to join their team as an SEN Teaching Assistant, working 1:1 with pupils who have ASD.

**SEN Teaching Assistant position located South Ockendon, Essex
**£70-£90 per day for this SEN Teaching Assistant role
**Perfect role for an aspiring Education Psychologist
**Long Term, Full-Time 1:1 SEN Teaching Assistant position starting immediately
**Support SEN pupils this January and gain vital experience

Psychology Graduate Specification:
**Minimum 2.2 Degree, with previous paid or voluntary experience of SEN
**Good A levels or BTEC
**GSCE grades C and above in Maths, Science, English
** The will and interest to want to work with SEN pupils
** Position designed for Aspiring Educational Psychologists

About the 1:1 SEN Teaching Assistant Role:
**Working 1:1 with ASD pupils
**Opportunity to run small group intervention classes with pupils of lower ability
**Working closely with the class teacher to develop schemes of work and a working environment that everyone can prosper in
**Liaising with parents, teachers and the SENCO to ensure effective delivery of SEN provision
