**ROLE TITLE: Quality Health, Safety and Environment (QHSE) Administrator**
**ROLE PURPOSE: T**he QSHE Administrator will be responsible for the update and maintenance of the Company’s quality processes and procedures to ensure the company maintains its certifications (ISO 9001 & ISO 13485). They will also support with the administration of onsite health and safety activities e.g., near miss reporting.
**ROLE ACCOUNTABILITY/AUTHORITY**:
- Understand the Company’s commitment to Health & Safety and ensure that policies, procedures and safe methods of work are always followed to safeguard colleagues and customers.
- Maintain and create QSHE documentation and records e.g., revision control index, audit schedules, action trackers.
- Take responsibility for ensuring goods in inspections are completed and recorded.
- Support warehouse team operative with checking of customer orders before dispatch.
- Initiate logging of customer/supplier issues, engineering changes, concession and near misses.
- Support Head of QSHE with non-conformance, near miss/accident investigation and any actions arising.
- Undertake training in related areas e.g., UK/EU MDR, ISO 9001, ISO 13485, IOSH Managing Safely
- Support Head of QSHE with any external audits (ISO certification, supplies).
- Support Head of QSHE with close out of actions arising from internal/external audits, management reviews.
- Become an internal QMS auditor, acting as a Quality champion and maintaining scheduled audits and following up on resulting actions.
- Take on additional Health & Safety role e.g., first aider, fire marshal.
- Carry out any task or assignment linked to this position as directed by the Head of QSHE e.g., collation of data for input into monthly department reports.
**AUTHORITY LEVEL**:
- **Level 2 (Experienced) -** Applies skills and job knowledge in area of specialisation; may adapt procedures, operations, techniques, tools, materials, and/or equipment to meet needs of area of specialisation; may work on non-routine tasks; resolves issues/makes working decisions within area of specialisation or responsibility under general supervision.
**REPORTS TO: Head of Quality**
**PERSON SPECIFICATION**:
- Good communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Good level of IT literacy - competent with Microsoft Excel.
- Basic knowledge of ISO9000 & ISO13485, UK Health & Safety requirements.
- Attention to detail and thorough approach to record keeping and data entry.
- Able to manage multiple tasks and work to tight deadlines.
- Good organisational skills.
- Eager to learn/develop (‘can do’ attitude).
