**Insurance Administrator/Broker Support**

- We currently have a fantastic opportunity for a driven and enthusiastic individual to join a highly collaborative and supportive team, within our **Professional Indemnity** team in Birmingham.
- As a Client Manager, your key focus will be on providing support to both the Client Executives and Brokers, as well as carrying out technical administrative based tasks.
- Our Professional Indemnity team have a wide range of client expertise to include; accountants; architects; commercial; communications, media and technology (CMT); contractors; engineers; healthcare; independent financial advisors; insolvency practitioners; legal professionals and law associations; single projects; and, small to medium-sized enterprises.

**We will rely on you to**:

- Arrange for new clients to be set up on our systems, monitor progress of on-boarding/due diligence of clients, intermediaries, and markets.
- Assist Client Executives and Brokers to set-up and manage the placement in broking system.
- File appropriate documentation in the broking system.
- Prepare documentation to support the placing of insurance contracts using the appropriate systems/processes - e.g. preparation of renewal reports and programme documentation, as well as quote and placement slips.
- Support placement of insurance contract through PPL or appropriate Digital Trading Platform.
- Review and check all documentation for quality and technical accuracy.
- Provide clear direction to Policy Servicing Teams through the Work Request Form (WRF).
- Review and respond to queries emanating from Marsh Operations and manage these to close in a timely manner.
- Ensure timely authorisation of documentation, and distribution to markets/client - debit notes, invoices and evidence of cover.

**What you need to have**:

- Excellent organisational skills and attention to detail with the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
- The ability to process instructions whilst working under pressure.
- Confident and articulate verbal and written communicator.
- The ability to calmly process large amounts of work with accuracy.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Applications.
- Business Acumen and commercial awareness.
- Be able to build effective relationships with processing colleagues (both on and offshore) to ensure the clarity and the prompt resolution of queries and payments is crucial.
- The range of specific tasks and depth of CM involvement will be guided by experience and seniority. The CM role will encompass a range of different grades, dependent upon levels of responsibility and breadth of those tasks.

**What makes you stand out**:

- Previous experience gained within insurance as an account handler/broker support role would be highly desirable.
- Comfortable with technical and/or diverse instructions from renewals to invoices via docs, presentation and endorsements.
