Avanti Recruitment is currently working with a new bank who are part of a £1Bn organization. The company are looking to hire a Kotlin or Java Developer they will also consider a Kotlin/Android developer if you have web/server experience. This role will behybrid working from their brand new Leeds-based office.

You will find yourself working on the payments side of the company, you will be working alongside the offshore team (team of 22) and with the head of engineering based in the UK. They are looking to build out an entire team here in the UK and have alreadymade hires on the Java team. Due to the rapid growth of the company's presence in the UK, You will have plenty of opportunities to work with Greenfield projects.

On a daily basis, you will find yourself working across the full software development life-cycle including being involved in architecture and design discussions. You will also be working with the latest technologies and joining a company that encouragesnew suggestions. The team runs on 2-week sprints following Agile.

Some of the technologies used in the company: Java, Kotlin, Spring, Springboot, Microservices, Maven, Gitlab, AWS, CI/CD, Node.JS, React.js, Docker, and Kubernetes.

**Essential Skills**:

- Strong Java or Kotlin Development experience
- Strong Spring/Springboot
- Experience with cloud (Ideally AWS)
- Kubernetes Experience

**Desirable**:

- Experience within the Payments / Banking / FinTech Sector
- Experience with Gitlab or similar CI/CD

The salary for this position is paying up to £60,000 (Depending on experience)
