Lead Java Developer - LEEDS / REMOTE - MUST BE UK BASED (No sponsorship) - £80,000 - £90,000

Applause IT are working exclusively with a globally-recognised, market-leading business within the Machine Learning/AI space with a proven reputation as an unbelievable place to work (4.5 on Glassdoor amongst other awards) to recruit a really importantrole in the way of a new Lead Java Developer for their team. You'll have input into the hiring of a new team, and you'll have ownership over the technical direction as well as engineering standards piece within the wider project.

Ideally you will be an experienced developer, driven by change and motivated by taking ownership of a project and then watching it grow and become successful.

You'll be working on the end-to-end transformation of an enterprise-scale monolithic structure, and then rebuilding using modern Java, SOA and DevOps approach.
