**What’s the job?**
We are recruiting for an experienced administrator to join our team as a Funding Administrator.
Our Funding Admin team are a critical function in the business, supporting the delivery of a smooth learner journey through effective management of key administrative touchpoints from learner onboarding to completion. The team and this role are responsible for providing first-class administrative support to key internal and external stakeholders including: timely and accurate processing of funding claims, data entry and reporting, quality audit support and issuing key learner, employer and awarding body paperwork.
In addition to providing administrative support across other areas that support you or your colleagues to deliver a first-class customer and learner experience.
**Role Responsibilities (include but not limited to)**:
- Processing a variety of paperwork in a timely and accurate manner, meeting internal and external submission deadlines.
- Coordinate learner registration with external partners.
- Update and maintain integrity of data management systems.
- Ensure quality benchmarks are maintained across all tasks consistent with audit and regulatory compliance requirements.
- General administrative tasks such as: data input, compliance checks, preparation of materials, processing learner completion certificates.
- To answer incoming calls and handle them where applicable for the department on a daily basis.
**Essential skills and experience**:
- Previous administration experience (1 year or more).
- Confident in the use of MS Word, Excel and Outlook and other IT systems and databases.
- Analytical with an eye for and attention to detail.
- Methodical, organised and task orientated, with an ability to deliver work to deadlines.
- Hold GCSEs in English and Maths at or above C (or equivalent).
**Desirable skills and experience**:
- Previous admin experience in a funding, school or finance background.
- Hold a relevant business administration qualification (apprenticeship or equivalent).
- Knowledge and/or experience in the apprenticeship sector.
**Salary**: £22,000.00 per year
