**About the Purchasing & Planning Coordinator job**

The purpose of your role will be to manage the ingredient and raw material purchasing and associated documentation to ensure the correct materials are ordered and received onsite to fully satisfy the production plans, contributing to the smooth operationof the production facility.

**Key tasks**
- Use MRP to purchase all materials required to complete the production plan ensuring lead times are considered.
- Update and maintain the ERP system accurately.
- Use sales forecasts to identify short and long plans to ensure sales targets are achieved.
- Work closely with the technical team on supplier management when new suppliers are introduced to the business.
- Ensure supplier details and pricing are updated and maintained on the ERP system.
- Interpret production schedules and use this data to assist in creating production plans in conjunction with the Operations Manager.

**About You**
- Experience working in the food or beverage manufacturing industry.
- Minimum 1 year experience in a planning, materials, forecast, purchasing or related supply chain role.
- Knowledge of processing movements and maintaining information on an ERP system.
- Knowledge of MRP, planning and forecasting.
- An understanding of imports and exports would be a great advantage.
- Knowledge of Microsoft office.
