**Summary**:
Join our team of strategists The responsibility for this role will be to be the main point of contact for some of our key advertising accounts; building media plans and strategy for them and becoming an extension of their marketing teams.

As a Senior Advertising Strategist, you will take on a pivotal role in developing and executing highly effective global advertising campaigns. Your extensive experience and expertise in the field will be instrumental in driving successful advertising strategies and achieving the objectives of our university clients. In addition, you will provide strategic guidance and mentorship to junior team members, support on new business proposals, and contribute to the overall growth and success of the organisation.

**Job Details**:
Day to day you will be responsible for
- ** Strategic Planning**:

- Lead the development of comprehensive advertising strategies by conducting in-depth research and analysis for both UK and US clients.
- Identify target student demographics, market trends, and competitor activities to ensure a competitive edge for our clients.
- **Campaign Development**:

- Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, including designers, copywriters, and delivery teams, to create impactful campaigns.
- **Channel Selection**:

- Utilise your expertise to determine the most effective channels for reaching prospective students.
- **Content Creation**:

- Provide strategic direction and guidance to the creative team in developing persuasive and compelling content for various advertising channels.
- Ensure content aligns with the brand voice and messaging of the university clients while captivating and inspiring prospective students.
- **Performance Analysis**:

- Utilise advanced analytics tools and techniques to monitor and analyse campaign performance metrics.
- Identify trends, insights, and areas for improvement, and leverage data-driven insights to optimise campaigns and maximise results.
- **Stakeholder Management**:

- Act as a trusted advisor to UK university clients, fostering strong relationships based on expertise and understanding of their unique requirements.
- Effectively communicate campaign progress, results, and strategic recommendations, ensuring long-term partnerships.
- Work effectively with internal stakeholders (creative, paid media, programmatic, direct media & broadcast) to create the best strategy & recommendations for client campaigns
- Delivering presentations & pitches to current clients and new business opportunities.
- **Leadership and Mentorship**:

- Provide guidance, mentorship, and support to junior team members.
- Share your expertise, best practices, and industry knowledge to foster their professional growth and development.
- **Market Research**:

- Stay at the forefront of industry trends and developments in higher education marketing.
- Conduct ongoing market research to identify emerging opportunities, innovative strategies, and competitive insights.
- **Budget Management**:

- Monitor campaign expenditures and provide strategic guidance to optimise budget utilisation.

**Requirements**:
**Essential**
- Extensive experience in advertising strategy development and execution
- Experience in building ads on pay per click platforms or buying traditional media.
- Exceptional analytical skills to interpret complex data, generate actionable insights, and optimise campaign performance.
- Proven track record of developing innovative and successful advertising campaigns.
- Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills to effectively collaborate with internal teams and establish strong relationships with university clients.
- Excellent organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects, prioritise tasks, and meet deadlines.
- Strong business acumen and strategic thinking capabilities.
- Able to work from our Brighton office twice a week

**Desirable**
- Strong understanding of the university landscape, including knowledge of different courses, programs, and admissions processes.
- Up-to-date knowledge of digital advertising trends, emerging technologies, and best practices in the industry.
- Demonstrated leadership abilities and experience in providing guidance and mentorship to junior team members.

**Qualifications**
- Bachelor's degree. Industry qualifications such as Google Ads Certification, Blueprint & Analytics are preferred.
