To support the University Research Ethics & Integrity Officer, including occasional deputising at Committee meetings
- To provide administrative support for the University ethics process
- To advise and support staff and students with the University Ethics Application Process.-
- This is a permanent, part time 0.5 FTE post.-
- **You will be part of the Team whose responsibilities include**:

- Providing administrative support to the University Research Ethics & Integrity Officer and the University’s research ethics process, including giving help to research staff and students.
- Assisting with the organisation and provision of training and the administration of training.
- Maintaining of University Research Ethics external and internal websites.
- Maintaining a thorough and up-to-date understanding of University ethical guidance.
- Establishing and maintaining professional relationships with colleagues and external collaborators including staff and students from other Directorates and Faculties.
- Attendance and participation at relevant University Sub-committees as appropriate.-
- **As the Research Ethics Administrator you should have**:

- Demonstrable experience of working in university administration
- An interest in research ethics issues and a willingness to develop knowledge and understanding in this area
- Experience of working with the Microsoft suite of programmes
- Strong appreciation of the requirements of confidentiality and discretion
- An understanding of centralised database management systems
- Team-working experience, as well as the ability to work on your own initiative
