JOB SUMMARY

Are you a skilled and experienced Complimentary Therapies practitioner with a passion for teaching? City College Peterborough is excited to offer an excellent opportunity for a talented and enthusiastic Complimentary Therapies Tutor to join our team within the Learning for Interests department. If you have expertise in massage, Indian head massage, reflexology, and meditation, and you are committed to guiding and inspiring adult learners aged 19+, we want to hear from you

**Responsibilities**:
Deliver high-quality and engaging lessons in the field of Complimentary Therapies, including massage, Indian head massage, reflexology, and meditation.
Create well-structured lessons that cater to the diverse learning needs and abilities of adult learners.
Cultivate a positive and inclusive learning environment that fosters a sense of belonging and encourages learners to explore and develop their skills.
Utilise various teaching methodologies to facilitate effective learning experiences and promote learner success.
Assess and monitor student progress, providing constructive feedback and support to aid their personal growth and development.
Collaborate with fellow tutors and department staff to ensure a cohesive and enriching educational experience for learners.
Stay informed about industry trends and advancements to enhance your teaching practice and keep the curriculum up to date.

**Requirements**:
Experience in Complimentary Therapies, particularly in massage, Indian head massage, reflexology, and meditation.
Proven ability to effectively teach and communicate complex concepts to adult learners.
Empathy and patience, with a genuine passion for helping learners achieve their full potential.
Strong organisational skills and the ability to manage time efficiently in a dynamic educational setting.
