**Year 7 Pastoral and Transition Lead**
36 hours a week x 41 weeks a year (Term time plus 2 weeks)
8.30am-4.15pm Monday-Thursday, 8.30am-4pm Friday
Actual Salary Range: £27,761 - £29,665 p.a. inclusive Scale 6 (dependent on proven knowledge and abilities)
We are looking to appoint a dedicated and professional Year 7 Pastoral and Transition Lead who will work to support Year 7 students and raise achievement by maintaining high standards of attendance and engagement. If successful, you will have a real opportunity to improve the life chances of our young women.
We are looking to appoint someone who is ambitious for our students and who shares our commitment to ensuring that each student experiences a rich and positive transition to secondary school. The transition programme in place will fully prepare them for the challenges that they will face as they embark on their secondary school learning journey.
Knowledge of working in a school or college environment will be valuable and it will also be an advantage to be familiar with the use of SIMS. However, above all we are looking for someone who: shows attention to detail; is a team player; is flexible, resilient and has a ‘can do’ approach to their work; who can form strong relationships with young people and their families. Your attitude, potential and willingness to learn are at least as important as your prior experience.
