**Position**: Team Leader for Glass-Reinforced Plastic (GRP) Door Production Line

We are seeking a Team Leader for our production line, specialising in glass-reinforced plastic (GRP) doors. This role requires an individual experienced in manufacturing processes, particularly in window and door production, who can efficiently and safely lead a dedicated team to meet production targets.

As the Team Leader, you will be responsible for overseeing daily operations to ensure production goals are met while upholding the highest quality standards. Key responsibilities include effective resource management, team motivation, and implementing best practices in the production process. You will also play a crucial role in troubleshooting issues, optimising workflows, and ensuring compliance with safety regulations.

**Responsibilities**:

- Lead and manage the GRP production team to achieve daily and weekly production goals.
- Ensure compliance with safety standards and protocols throughout the production process.
- Monitor and analyse production performance metrics to identify areas for improvement.
- Implement best practices in GRP manufacturing to enhance product quality and consistency.
- Coordinate training and development for team members to improve skills and knowledge relevant to GRP production.
- Oversee the maintenance of equipment and machinery used in GRP production to minimise downtime.
- Collaborate with other departments, including quality control and inventory, to ensure seamless operations.

**Requirements**:

- Proven experience in a production role, preferably in glass-reinforced plastic (GRP), windows or doors.
- Excellent leadership and team management skills, with a focus on motivation and performance improvement.
- Exceptional problem-solving abilities and the capacity to effectively analyse production data.
- Familiarity with safety regulations and best practices in a manufacturing environment.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills to facilitate clear communication across teams.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while managing multiple priorities and deadlines.

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: £13.61 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week

- Assembly: 2 years (required)
- UPVC: 2 years (preferred)
