We are looking for a handy person for our care home who can perform routine jobs including building flat-packed furniture, repairing handles, putting up shelves, as well as tackle some of the bigger tasks such as decorating and some gardening ie
- grass cutting and potting plants.

Proven experience of joinery skills (boxing pipes in, creating ways to protect walls, working with fire doors etc) are a must, and if you have the ability to fix small plumbing and/or electrical jobs that would be a fantastic bonus.

A **PVG** check will be carried out as you will be around vulnerable people. You need to be flexible enough to pick up jobs both scheduled and the unscheduled quick response ones (other jobs allowing).

Ideally it would suit someone who could complete repairs or decorate within our home while allowing you to still take on other jobs, therefore your own vehicle is advantageous and your own tools are a necessity.

**Job Types**: Freelance, Zero hours contract

**Salary**: £11.00-£20.00 per hour

- Holidays
- Monday to Friday
- Weekend availability
